The Larkspur Center Store

The store is open to the public Monday - Thursday, 10 am to 5 pm.

The store is staffed by program participants, who also create the items sold there. They gain real work experience in both production and sales. The items for sale in the store include hand-painted silk scarves, greeting cards, and other one-of-a-kind items. The artist receives of the sale price of the item. Participants are responsible for inventory, display, marketing, managing money, and customer relations.

Marin Brain Injury Network's Holiday Art cards offer our therapeutic day program participants a unique and creative way to connect with the community. Each year, participants devote time and energy crafting unique card designs. In the process, they have the opportunity to improve cognitive and fine motor skills, while engaging in creative expression and emotional processing. Participants earn a percentage of all proceeds from the card sales, which fosters confidence and builds self-esteem.
