Marin Brain Injury Network / Caregiver Support Group

MBIN recognize the needs, concerns and issues Families & Caregivers face supporting a loved one who is a brain injury survivor. Our goal is to provide an environment offering support, education, resources and comraderie for caregivers and family members of brain injury survivors.

Our center provides the following services to support caregivers:

  • Counseling
• Education
• Resource Referral
• Monthly Caregiver Education Group

The Caregiver Support Group meets monthly:
Each month, a different event will be offered with professional guest presenters who work in the field of brain injury.

Neurophychology - Managing Behavioral Issues/Coping

Guest Speaker: Christina Weyer Jamora, PhD (CA Psy 21943)

Art Therapy for Survivors
August 24 , 2008 - 11:00am-1:00pm
Guest Speaker: Midge Casler, M.A., Art Therapist
 
Midge will discuss the benefits of art therapy for survivors of brain injury & for caregivers/family as well. This meeting will include an art therapy exercise for the group. Questions will also be addressed.
